OUR MISSION
We Exist To Support People Through Grief And Loss, Honour Loved Ones With Dignity And Promote Healing.
OUR SUPPORT RESOURCES

Marginalised communities particularly ethnic minorities, migrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, disabled people, and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds often face barriers to grief support such as cultural erasure, stigma, institutional discrimination and underrepresentation in policy and services.

ABOUT MAJONZI
Majonzi was originally set up as a fund offering grants to honour lives lost and provide support through culturally aware memorials and events. It has since evolved into a collective that challenges the inequities in grief, and advances culturally competent, inclusive approaches that centre the voices and experiences of those often excluded from mainstream narratives.
OUR PURPOSE: HONORING LOVE, HEALING TOGETHER
We founded MAJONZI as a sanctuary for those navigating the profound silence of grief. Our mission is to provide the compassionate resources and collective support needed to honor the lives of those we have lost.
Our team is a dedicated group of empathetic professionals and volunteers who believe in the power of shared healing. We work tirelessly to ensure that no one walks through loss alone, providing a supportive community for all.
“Healing is not a destination, but a continuous process of honoring the love we share and the memories that guide us forward.”
